About Bunkhouse North and South
Facing Katlian St. on the first floor, lodging units have been designed to efficiently accommodate a large family or group of friends in a cabin-style atmosphere. The layout provides for intimate gatherings of smaller parties, as well. Both bunkhouse units offer full-sized kitchens, group dining, quality furnishings, fixtures, and finishes. The units are connected by an interior doorway so that groups of up to 20 can effectively make the FQ their central staging area for exploring Sitka's great outdoors.

About Bunkhouse South
Bunkhouse South sleeps up to ten with one private bedroom with full bunk beds. The living room is furnished with two top-grade XL bunk bed sets, LaCrosse queen, full sleeper sofas, and two bench-style lounge sleepers - XL cot width, built into the convertible bench table.

Going fishing? Your sport charter boat can pick you up directly from the FQ marina. Afterward you can choose to process your own catch here at the FQ, or have it commercially processed through your charter service. Large group fees may apply.

  We stay at Fisherman's Quay every year for our annual fishing trip with Sitka Fishing Excursions. They can pick us up right at the private dock and we can do our own fish processing. This is our first stay at the South Bunkhouse. It's perfect for a close group or family as 2 of the bunks are in the main room. Worked out great for me, my son, and grandson. Will be back next year!

  Location is good. We’ve stayed at Fisherman’s Quay before. Never had to pay a fee to use the fish processing equipment prior to this stay. Previously it was included in the package. Nor were we told upon booking that there was a (new) fee to use the fish processing facilities.
  Also, it wasn’t until the day prior to check-out that we were informed - by email - that house-cleaning was required. This was also not shared with us
  on booking.
  In all of our lodging experiences, we have never been required to do the house-cleaning upon check-out. I can understand removing trash. But asking your guests, who are paying a premium to stay at your property - to do the cleaning.....

    Hi Bruce, Thank you for your review and concerns. The quay only charges a fish processing room fee for larger groups (over 6 guests) to help cover the cost of the additional bags and usage of the machines. When we have 6 or more people fishing and catching ever day for 3 or more days, the amount of usage goes up considerably. The Quay provides a great and convenient service with the onsite fish processing facility for their guests however the there are certain guidelines and requirements in order to help keep this service available to guests. In regards to cleaning upon departure, we don't not require guests to do a full unit clean. We have basic guidelines that are standard when renting any vacation rental that are expected of guests and how to leave a rental for our cleaning staff.
