This waterfront rental is newly renovated with all the amenities of home. Located close to Sitka harbors and equipped with its own dock, this 1 bedroom 1 bathroom stay offers guests the authentic feeling of Sitka's robust fishing community.

Comfortable living room, with a flat screen TV makes movie watching very enjoyable. Just off from the living room is the kitchen with a full size oven/stove and refrigerator. Down the hall is the bedroom with a queen size bed and large closet. A second twin size bed can be added for larger groups. Across from the bedroom is the bathroom with a tub/shower combo and plenty of shelving.

  A well-maintained, spacious one-bedroom apartment with well-equipped kitchen, in between docks and a convenient 5-10 minute walk from both downtown/restaurants and the supermarket. Cleaning staff could be a little more thorough refreshing the unit after previous tenants, but overall it was a very good one-week stay.

  We stayed for 5.5 months over the winter here. It is in a great location for us, as we didn't have a car. The lack of windows, the low ceilings, and the general small size made it tough for a long term stay, especially since my partner was working from home. But the space was as described, and that was a choice that we made. The mattress is definitely due for a replacement soon. We sometimes slept on the extra twin bed instead. Because the bedroom shares a wall with the boiler room, it stays very hot. In terms of service, arriving and departing were simple, the price was fair, and Christine at Island Property was extremely helpful and kind.
