Bedroom set up:
Upstairs consists of 4 bedrooms with 3 queen beds and 1 twin size bed. There is one additional bedroom on the main floor with a twin size bed. There is also a pullout sofa located in the TV.

  I would love to have king size beds in 1 or 2 of the bedrooms. This is a personal comfort preference, not a criticism of the rental. The main things needed are grab rails in the showers and 4-6 hooks in the main upstairs bathroom. That bathroom is shared by 4-5 people and there is only 1 towel bar big enough for 2 towels.
  House was amazingly clean. Manager was quick to respond and very helpful.

  I can’t say enough about this lovely home overlooking Crescent Harbor in Sitka, Alaska. The home is so warm and welcoming, tastefully appointed with all the comforts of home. There’s even a piano! Two people in our party play piano and guitar and it was fun gathering in the front room, enjoying the view and singing along. Some better than others! Lots of space to find your own private nook to relax and read. If you must work, there’s a desk upstairs overlooking the harbor! Nice inspiration! Would love to stay here again. The property management is top-notch h and responded quickly to every need. Well done!

  This is a very beautiful well equipped home. It is exactly as described. The beds were also comfortable. The location cannot be beat. We were there for some salmon and halibut fishing, and the boat was right across the street. You can also walk to anything in town. Extremely convenient!! The only downside was we did not get to spend a lot of time at the house, because we were so busy with activities. Communication with the host was also excellent. 5 stars all around!

  We loved staying at this charming historic home in Sitka. It is located within walking distance to everything with a front row view of the marina. My favorite was sitting with my 1 year old grandson in the living area and watching people come and go from the marina. There was plenty of space for our family of 7 to spread out. Lots of cozy spaces to read a good book or enjoy a cup of coffee. Decorated beautifully and very clean. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with all the amenities you will need! The owner, Ann, was so sweet and cut us a beautiful bouquet of flowers from the yard. Christine was so friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

  Perfect for this family gathering. Lots of room for gathering and personal privacy. Excellent location with a nice view of the harbor. Easy walk to town and waterfront parks. Well equipped kitchen. Nice natural light even on gray and rainy days. Note that the first floor bedroom is a pass-through between two living zones. It could be its own apartment but if you’re sharing the whole house note that the person who sleeps here will have less privacy.

  We had a delightful stay in this historic home. It is located right near the center of town, and near the local docks. It is a quick walk to the Totem park as well. The house itself is classy, very clean and extremely well-appointed. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Finally, the yard is gorgeous with lovely gardens and lush grass lawn.

  All aspects of Sitka Travel were excellent. The property was great and this location can't be beat - close to town and a terrific view.
  One major problem with the Sitka experience is lack of reliable Taxi service. No Uber, No public transportation to the airport and very poor Taxi service. We finally contacted Tidal Taxi (, brand new company) and they were great.
  Sitka City Council must address this situation.
